Last week, someone asked me why I keep posting on LinkedIn every day. 

My answer? It's an investment for the future. 

Most of it is for three years from now, when I want to work a few days a week,

Pick the projects I say yes to, and not be out of the house from 8 to 6 when kids come along

That's the dream for most people. I can add getting that 100-acre farm to it too 😂

Between January 2025 and January 2026, I posted on LinkedIn every day. 

In January 2025, I had 5,157 followers

In January 2026, I had 19,000 followers

Today I have 34,034 followers. 

And I have reached over 3 million engineers worldwide.

Now, followers do not equal dollars, so what does this growth mean for me?

Well, let me give you one example. I have been trying to become a CNCF ambassador for 3 years before October 2025. 

Got denied every year! 

Finally got accepted last year while doing pretty much the same amount of community work. See post. 

What changed? Well, more people knew I existed. 

Now, what does this mean for you?

This is why I keep screaming at you to speak at conferences. The possibilities are endless!!

The possibilities for me aren't the same as for you…but both are positive and life-changing.
